چکیده
With the growing emphasis on minimization of global plastic waste, flexible fibre-based packaging has gained significant interest over past few years. Heat-sealing technology is commonly applied for vertical form-fill-seal machine to provide tight closure packages maintaining food quality and shelf life. Several different seal bar geometries adequate heat-seal parameters are required improve tightness packages. This study aims compare heat sealability thermoplastic film (OPP/PE) paper-based materials in using various profiles. The investigation includes strength measurement, understanding causes leak formation, inspection scanning electron microscopy. Results reveal that OPP/PE material exceptional leakproof ability compared with materials. However, it limited operating window because shrinks coarsens at approximately 140°C. Sealing temperature dwell time found be major factors affecting material. PE-coated papers exhibit nearly twice dispersion-coated paper. It was difficult achieve good hot-tack values During testing, all experience delamination fibre tear, its severity increases increasing grammage. As plateau reached, remains relatively constant. serrated geometry design plays a role providing satisfactory airtight seal, particularly around pouch's layer jump. flat designs not recommended gas applications

Performance evaluation of trapezoidal teeth labyrinth seal
The present paper investigates the effects of the trapezoidal teeth labyrinth seal on the leakage amount in gas turbines. The influences of increasing the number of teeth from 1 to 6 with step 1 and the tip clearance s=0.5 to 7.5 mm on the leakage flow at different pressure ratios of PR=1.5, 2 and 2.5 are examined, comprehensively. The analysis is performed numerically using a Finite-Volume...

Blow/Fill/Seal technology, originally developed in Europe and introduced in the U.S. in the late 1960's, has emerged as a preferred method for aseptic packaging of pharmaceutical and healthcare products due to unrivaled flexibility in container design, overall product quality, product output and low operational costs. The Weiler design incorporates the multi-step process of blow molding, asepti...

the results of the initial study. It was concluded that the apical fluids, with their primary source being blood serum, diffuse into the empty canal spaces, stagnate, undergo degradation and then act as a physicochemical irritant when they diffuse back into periapical tissues. In support of this theory of stagnation, in 1955 Dow and Ingle showed that the majority of the endodontic failures were...

Derek Duggan In vivo microleakage evaluation of two root-filling materials in teeth without a coronal seal (Under the direction of Dr. Martin Trope) Two carrier-based materials were compared to assess their resistance to coronal microleakage in a dog model when no coronal seal was present. Histologic evidence of inflammation and infection were the outcome parameters used. Experimental teeth wer...
